1999 Southern Aircraft Sales was founded in Christchurch, New Zealand. The business operated part time in local trading and rental of single engine light aircraft.
2003 The business was incorporated and digitised and with considerable full time drive Southern Aircraft Sales Ltd (SASL) quickly became a leading aviation brokerage across New Zealand / Australia / South Pacific region.
2004 Aircraft valuation services are added to SASL brokerage services.
2005 International aircraft delivery services are added to SASL brokerage services.
2012 Classified adverts were added in tandem with the traditional brokerage service.
2015 Classified advertising on a global scale became the primary business.
2025 Classified advertising is being replaced with a new subscriber based service that is currently under independent, silent trial.
