My hangar is a little too crowded with my second, recently arrived experimental aircraft.
Built in France 1964, by SUD (South) Aviation (builders of Caravelle & Concorde jet airliners, etc).
The Horizon is classified as an "orphan" as it is no-longer supported by SUD (now known as "Airbus Aerospace" etc). The Horizon precedes the Socata Trinidad, Tobago, Tampico and ST10 Diplomate. Twelve GY80 were operated by the Cambodian Air Force.
Lycoming O-320-B2C, 160 hp engine, 2689 hrs on tacho. "on condition"
Inhibited with Camguard. De-inhibiting only requires addition of 1 quart of normal oil.
Sensenich fixed pitch prop.
Leather seats.
Good paint.
